Patricia died in the early hours of December 1st, 2004, after a long struggle with cancer. She was one of the kindest, sweetest people I ever met.
In Patricia's memory, all proceeds from the sale of the 36 Great American Poems CD during the month of December 2004, together with the Dec. 1st PayPal balance (a bit shy of $300), was donated to the Medical Ethics Fund at the Lahey Clinic of Burlington, Mass. The final donation amount was $1,507.30. Many, many thanks to all who purchased the CD that month. As well as the good the clinic will do with that money, I am very glad to know that Patricia's sweet voice will continue to be heard around America. Patricia was working for the Fund until she could no longer sit at the computer. — J.D.
